Launch Prestige Professional Tray Bake range at Catex 2017
Prestige Foods presented the Artisan dessert range and vol-au-vent and pie fillings at the Plassey Food Fayres 2016 in Limerick and Killarney.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE New Products Launch at CATEX Exhibition by Prestige Foods Ltd. Listowel, Co. Kerry – Monday February 23rd, 2015 Minister of State of Dept. Taoiseach and Foreign Affairs Jimmy Deenihan T.D formally launched a new range of desserts made by Prestige Foods in Listowel, Co. Kerry on Tuesday February 16th at the CATEX Exhibition, RDS, Dublin – Ireland’s largest and most influential Food Service event.
The Minister congratulated the company on their achievement in producing new and unique quality artisan desserts for the Irish and European markets in their BRC approved facility in Listowel. He stated that this new venture will have a positive impact on employment opportunities in Kerry. John O’Connor, Managing Director of Prestige Foods stated: “This is our first range of products under the PRESTIGE PROFESSIONAL brand – specifically aimed at the Food Service market. Our dedicated R & D team has worked tirelessly over the last 12 months to create these beautifully crafted desserts using fresh cream from North Kerry, Irish butter and Irish cream cheese blended with natural ingredients such as Sicilian lemon, Belgium chocolate ,Italian biscuits and Madagascar vanilla”.
John continued: “I would like to thank our staff of 65 in Listowel for all their effort and hard work they have put into this project and for their efforts over the past 12 years. CATEX has been very positive for us and beyond our expectations. The response has been very positive both nationally and internationally. There are exciting times ahead for Prestige Foods“.
